On Saturday the 18th of June, we held our annual charity football match. A Bell Inn Landlords X1 took on AFC Balsham in a close and entertaining match which ended in a 2-2 draw. The game was decided by a penalty shootout which saw the Landlords X1 victorious. The game was followed by a fund raising evening at the Bell Inn. The event raised an impressive £700 for the Cambridge Branch of the National Autistic Society.
All the player’s from both teams made a donation to play, the bulk of the money was raised by a raffle. A special thanks to all of the following businesses, organisations and individuals for kindly donating the raffle prizes.
